Siouxsie Q, Femme Domme Fatale Host Inclusive Cannabis Speakeasy Tomorrow

LOS ANGELES — Siouxsie Q and the Femme Domme Fatale crew are bringing their speakeasy-themed show to Bar Sinister tomorrow to celebrate the end of cannabis prohibition in California.

“Legalized cannabis consumption came to the Golden State this January, and yet with the bevy of new taxes and the looming threat of punitive federal repercussions it's difficult to feel like prohibition has really ended,” Q said. “We want to ensure that we are amplifying the voices and businesses of people who have disproportionately affected by the criminalization of cannabis, and continue to create more space for the LGBTQ community, women, indigenous folks and people of color to succeed in the new California green rush.”

Femme Domme Fatale’s Bella Bathory has hosted the event at Bar Sinister since 2014 as a way to promote visibility of queer femmes in the Los Angeles BDSM scene. Every month she brings burlesque, fire, and kink performances to the stage.

Bathory said, “I am so excited to have the trifecta of vintage fetish glam, marijuana madness and amazing fire performances for this show. This is our second prohibition-themed show and this time you can expect 1920s-inspired costuming and jazz music with the addition of our favorite green friend. We will also be unveiling cocktails from Buck Angel's CBD tonic line, Pride Wellness LA, for some prohibition-era drinks with a CBD twist.”

Scheduled to perform that evening are Bella Bathory, Siouxsie Q, Ash Hollywood, Michael Vegas and Daisy Ducati. Dominatrix Mistress Maia McQueen will be hosting the event as well as the BDSM play area on stage.

Bar Sinister and Femme Domme Fatale are proud to announce their event sponsors, including indigenous-owned and -operated vape company War Party Extracts, CBD capsules from Elysium Infusions and LGBTQ health and wellness cannabis line Pride Wellness LA. Trans advocate and adult performer Buck Angel will also be launching a new 1920s-themed CBD cocktail at the event.

The Stockroom is sponsoring prizes for the midnight costume contest hosted by legendary by legendary Kent Kalibur and guests are encouraged to come dressed in their finest flapper gear.

Club Bar Sinister is located at 1652 N. Cherokee Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90028. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
