MIAMI — Adult stars Sara Jay and Angelina Castro have announced the success of their adult industry support event, which they have dubbed the “Porn Gettys,” as well as the date of their second gathering.
Tomorrow, performers are invited to “get together, socialize, support one another in a nonjudgmental setting in an attempt to build a sense of community and friendship and have fun.”
The girls decided to take action in response the recent tragic deaths Shyla Stylez, August Ames, Yurizan Beltran, Olivia Lua and Olivia Nova and the lack of support groups in Florida. The first get-together was well attended, the duo said.
"Angelina and I were very happy with the turn out and reaction to our group last month,” Jay enthused. “It is awesome to see talent pull together and help one another. The South Florida adult community has needed cohesion for years. APAC is great but it doesn't extend to the East Coast yet. Castro added, "I didn't know what to expect from the get together. I was very pleased to see people hanging out, being supportive and having some fun. Sara and I really want to give back to an industry we have both been in well over a decade each. If anyone has any interest, you have nothing to lose by showing up."
