TrafficStars Debuts New Video Pre-Roll Ad Format

LIMASSOL, Cyprus — TrafficStars announced today the launch of a new advertising format on its platform.

TrafficStars’ new video pre-roll ad format is a video ad of up to 15 seconds, which plays before the content and allows users to skip the ad after six seconds.

The video pre-roll ad format fits “perfectly” in line with Google’s ad formats on YouTube and therefore is considered to be non-intrusive and user-friendly, TrafficStars Managing Director Peter Rabenseifner said.

“Our team worked hard to develop this technology and make video pre-roll ads available for desktop and mobile websites,” Rabenseifner said. “I’m very proud that we’ve reacted to recent changes in the industry to quickly launch this format for our partners, which is yet another way we’re helping advertisers and publishers with sustainable advertising alternatives.

“We’re working continuously to provide better alternatives to our publishers, finding a balance between providing the best experience to their users and securing a stable advertising revenue – and also to our advertisers, presenting highly effective ad formats which engage users in innovative ways,” Rabenseifner said.

Starting today, the format is live worldwide, on mobile and desktop devices, on TrafficStars’s partner website xHamster.com.

The new ad format has launched with a partnership with German toy brand Satisfyer in Germany and Austria, along with many more campaigns from various clients in verticals such as dating and livecams.

For more details about video pre-roll ads with TrafficStars, publishers and advertisers can contact their assigned account managers or email advertising@trafficstars.com.
