Father Peeved Over School Porn Pics

INDIANA – The father of a high school student filed federal charges against school employees who allegedly used school computers to email "pornographic" photos of his daughter to each other and to students.

The photos were discovered by a teacher at Tri Junior-Senior High School who reported the emails to the school principal, but by that time they had made the rounds through the majority of the school's email accounts.

Papers filed in federal court name the school's Superintendent, 16 teachers, a cheerleading coach, and several students in the suit. There are also allegations against a school parent for being involved in the mini porn ring.

The parents of the girl claim that their daughter suffered "emotional pain and low self esteem" from the incident. The parents also claim that the school employees behind the porn scam had conspired to keep the girl from participating in extracurricular activities by humiliating her in front of her peers.

Court papers allege that the porn scam went far beyond the school walls and included the New Castle and Shenandoah school systems, which are 40 miles east of Indianapolis, the Associated Press reports.

There is currently no criminal investigation underway, but school leaders are insisting that the porn scam was in no way tied to keeping the girl from participating in school activities.
