Trooper Fired After Porn Star Traffic Stop

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee state trooper James Randy Moss has been fired from his job after he allegedly received oral sex from adult star Barbie Cummings during a traffic stop on May 7. Cummings said she gave Moss oral sex in exchange for not being charged with drug possession.

After pulling over her pink Honda Accord for speeding in the early morning hours, Moss discovered what Cummings called “happy pills” in her car and allegedly informed her that a drug charge wouldn’t allow her to cross state lines. Cummings, who lives in Tennessee, flies to Los Angeles once a month to shoot adult content. She is under an exclusive boy-girl performing contract with BlacksOnBlondes.com.

After revealing her circumstance to Moss, Cummings said the two had oral sex. After the alleged incident, Cummings posted a vivid description on her blog, BarbieCummings.com.

Moss allegedly photographed and videotaped the incident with Cummings, whose real name is Justis Richert. Cummings said that Moss also visited her website from his state-issued laptop. Moss allegedly showed her blog to co-workers and bragged about the incident. A THP employee filed an anonymous complaint against Moss, which triggered an internal investigation and his subsequent suspension.

Wilson County prosecutors are planning to charge Moss with destroying evidence for throwing Cummings’ pills in the bushes, THP spokesman Mike Browning told the Knoxville News Sentinel.

“We’ll be aggressively pursuing a charge that he destroyed narcotics,” Browning said. “There could be other charges. What was in the video [taken from Moss’ in-cruiser camera] was disturbing.”

Since Cummings’ allegations, two other women have come forward with complaints about Moss’ behavior during traffic stops. “The allegations that have been brought to our attention by the other two individuals I would describe as very serious inappropriate unacceptable conduct,” Tennessee Highway Patrol Commissioner Dave Mitchell told WXII12.com. “We are also expanding this investigation by reviewing prior citations issued by Moss, [and] the video camera in his vehicle. We are doing a comprehensive investigation into the conduct and activity of Trooper Moss.”

While Cummings told XBIZ that she feels bad about Moss being fired, she loves the attention this story has brought her. Cummings said her blog received more than 205,000 hits this week and she’s received emails from fans all over the world.

“I’m really loving this attention,” Cummings told XBIZ. “I’ve gotten calls from major newspapers and TV stations since the story broke. I feel really bad for the guy, but he was the one who initiated everything. He had to know that getting a blowjob from a porn star while on duty was against the rules. I mean, he was the one who wanted to take photos so he could brag to his buddies.”

The Associated Press ranked its interview with Cummings as the most-viewed online national news story on Tuesday and it remains on the top 10 for the week.
