Paysite Meetup Expands to XBIZ Shows in L.A., Miami and Berlin

Paysite Meetup Expands to XBIZ Shows in L.A., Miami and Berlin

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the addition of Paysite Meetup to its 2018 show schedule, with the next meetup set to take place in conjunction with XBIZ LA in January and additional gatherings planned for XBIZ Miami in May and XBIZ Berlin in September.

Powered and hosted by premier payment services company Vendo, the exclusive event was created to help paysite pros learn, share and connect with other paysite players.

It previously has been held in Barcelona, Prague and London, with a mission of bringing operators together to learn from each other and to discuss important topics directly affecting the paysite market.

Vendo’s Mitch Platt said he is excited to take Paysite Meetup to the U.S. following the recent sold-out event in London and called Los Angeles “the ideal city” to host the next event, noting “the feedback from attendees has been phenomenal.”

“I am proud that Vendo and XBIZ can come together and serve the paysite community in a way that encourages the sharing of knowledge and growth for all attendees,” Platt explained. “I wish we could accommodate everyone who would like to attend but unfortunately space is limited.”

Because of the specialized nature of the event, access to Paysite Meetup is reserved for operators of qualified membership-based websites who create content and plan to share their knowledge with other participants.

Vendo will co-host the event with Kink, the meetup’s lead paysite partner.

“Kink is excited to team up as the lead paysite partner with Vendo and XBIZ to help host the Paysite Meetup in Los Angeles,” said Matt, Kink’s director of marketing and business development. “Based on our annual experience at the Vendo Partner Conference I can’t wait for L.A.”

“We love to attend for the learning that is achieved and for the close connection with so many of our partners,” Matt added. “We can’t wait to bring this level of interaction to the paysite nucleus of the adult industry.”

Paul from DDF Network called the Paysite Meetup “refreshing [and] insightful” and the level of attendees “fantastic.”

“Here you see that other companies have the same problems you are having,” PornDoe Premium’s Gian Carlo said. “Listening to everyone share their solutions gives you great ideas to apply to your business.”

“In a single day, I gathered more business intelligence than I did in the last 13 years in seminars,” said Fred from Gamma Entertainment.

Meanwhile, industry veteran Shap called the Paysite Meetup “fantastic.” “Probably the best event I’ve ever been to in 20 years,” Shap said.

Steven from Blacked.com called Paysite Meetup “a great productive day [with] great information sharing, cross-referencing and discussion.”

XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy said that the business news publisher and events company is pleased to offer the paysite market “a completely unique education and networking experience at our upcoming shows.”

“A resurgence of business activity within the paysite market is attracting renewed interest among seasoned players as well as newcomer entrepreneurs, and XBIZ LA is the perfect venue to kick off Paysite Meetup’s expanded schedule in 2018,” Helmy said.

XBIZ 2018 returns to West Hollywood, Calif.,’s stylish Andaz hotel from Jan. 15-19 to deliver an upgraded slate of events, culminating on Thursday, Jan. 18, with the 2018 XBIZ Awards show.

The annual business-to-business pilgrimage attracts the most diverse group of decision makers, company principals and international players, uniting all industry segments of adult for a comprehensive look at content creation, marketing, publishing and technology.
