LOS ANGELES — Aubrey Kate scooped up three 2018 XBIZ Award nominations, including the coveted Crossover Star of the Year.
“Even being considered for Crossover Star of the Year is such an honor,” said Kate, who was 2017 XBIZ Trans Performer of the Year. “Especially as the only TS woman in that category — it feels so great to be in the same category as non-niche performers. I have been working even harder than last year and I hope it shows. Performer of the Year is a very competitive category and it’s an honor to be nominated again.”
Kate is nominated in three categories:
- Crossover Star of the Year
- Best Sex Scene — Virtual Reality: "Being Aubrey" (GroobyVR.com)
- Trans Performer of the Year
“Being listed in a Best VR Scene category that’s not specifically labeled as a TS category is also awesome,” Kate added. “I think it shows how our industry is moving forward and everyone is finally being accepted and I thank XBIZ for this inclusion."
