VALENCIA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films has announced the release of "Women Seeking Women 148," which is now available on DVD.
Directed by Girlfriends Films founder Dan O'Connell, the latest installment in the long-running series has more than three hours of all-girl hardcore sex starring Elsa Jean with Lauren Phillips, Dolly Leigh with Scarlett Sage, Ella Nova with Prinzzess and Bree Daniels with Shyla Jennings.
On the reunion between Daniels and Jennings, O'Connell said, “Getting the opportunity to shoot them together is nearly impossible as both girls live out of state, at least a thousand miles from where we shoot. Shyla travels in every six weeks or so to shoot for about a week. Bree's trips are much less frequent, especially over the past two years. It is statistically very rare to have them both here at the same time, and then to have them available to shoot on the same day.”
According to O’Connell, coordinating the logistics of the shoot was well worth the effort. “Both Shyla and Bree qualify as uber-cute girls and look so good together," he said. "Both are top performers, fan favorites and — to boot — they are good friends off the set. So having them together is certainly the main event in any adult movie anywhere, any time.”
The director also revealed that the chemistry between Jennings and Daniels was evident to everyone on set, even between takes. “It was interesting to see their banter when the cameras weren't rolling," he commented. "Here you have two great performers who are good friends and haven't seen each other for what seems like forever. It was a lot of fun to keep an eye on them while we were getting sets ready and doing all the other things we do between scenes. They made it a happy day for everyone on set!”
Daniels and Jennings were previously paired one year ago in "Lesbian Psychodramas 23." They first shared a Girlfriends Films scene and DVD cover in 2011 for "Lesbian Bridal Stories 5" and were together again in 2012 with "Please Make Me Lesbian Part 7." The starlets appeared together in two additional scenes produced by Tammy Sands for Girlfriends Films including "Hot Lesbian Love 5" in 2014, and the "Bree Daniels Experience" in 2015.
As for this time around, O’Connell said fans are in for what could be "the best scene" the Jennings/Daniels duo has ever filmed. “Having gotten them together is like having a total eclipse and being in the right place to observe it," he noted. "Their scene is extremely passionate and is sure to become one of the most viewed in Girlfriends Films history.”
