iWantEmpire Signs Marc MacNamara as Brand Ambassador, Consultant

LOS ANGELES — iWantEmpire has signed gay filmmaker Marc MacNamara as its brand ambassador and consultant as part of an effort to expand into the gay market.

“Marc has been a major creative and innovative figure in the gay adult market and we are extremely pleased to add his skill and expertise to iWantEmpire,” said Jay Phillips, vice president of iWantEmpire. “Our expansion into the gay segment will be greatly enhanced by Marc’s considerable talents as an artist, visionary and entrepreneur. His success in mainstream and adult worlds provides us with a unique perspective and expertise that will greatly add to iWantEmpire’s position in the market.”

As a brand ambassador, consultant and creative visionary, MacNamara will provide iWantEmpire with his unique ability to develop, create and market content to a dedicated adult gay audience, the company reported. His status will also serve to enhance iWantEmpire’s name recognition and brand awareness during personal appearances, marketing campaigns, promotions and special events aimed at furthering the brand, the company added.

According to the company, known for his eclectic erotic vision through his Nasty Boy Productions imprint, MacNamara has gained respect and wide acclaim for his work, earning him a number of honors and awards. He received the XBIZ Award for Gay Movie of the Year in 2014 and 2012.

“I am looking forward to working with the iWantEmpire team to help increase brand awareness while creating some exciting unique content,” MacNamara said. "I’m especially thrilled to be a part of a team that is committed to creating quality adult content, fostering a positive environment, and abundance for its models and providing support for gay and LGBT rights.”
