N.Z.'s AdultToyMegaStore Moves Warehouse to Larger Facility

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — AdultToyMegaStore said today that it is moving its warehouse operations to a facility that is 10 times bigger to keep up with the online store’s growth.

The move to the 3,500-square-meter warehouse in Grenada North, an area north of Wellington, started Monday and the transition is expected to take three to four weeks, said Rohan Whyte, AdultToyMegaStore warehouse logistics manager.

AdultToyMegaStore’s head office will remain in the Te Aro district of Wellington.

AdultToyMegaStore, also known as ATMS, is an online adult toy and lingerie retailer that started in 2009.

Marketing executive Emma Hewitt said that business is as busy as ever, which triggered the need for the retailer to move to a larger warehouse, which is considered to be the largest in New Zealand for sex toys.

“The new warehouse is a big step forward for us because it shows just how much we have grown over the years,” Hewitt said. “This move is a testament to AdultToyMegaStore’s growth, and reinforces the fact that we’re the New Zealand retailer that kiwis come to for everything adult – whether it’s to gain knowledge, share experiences or to buy toys to add to their collection.”
