PITTSBURGH — Adult Empire (AE) recently surveyed the trends and fans’ viewing habits in the European country of Bulgaria in a new "Global Porn Trends" infographic.
"AE’s customers visit our site from all over the world, so we believe it’s important to keep up-to-date with countries’ individual interests in order to keep everyone satisfied and stocked with their favorites,” said Adult Empire’s director of marketing, Megan Wozniak.
Bulgaria is ranked 46th in porn consumption by country, watched primarily by men (90 percent) between the ages of 25 and 44 (34 percent) on a desktop computer (71 percent) versus a mobile device. Sunday is the busiest viewing day (Friday the least), with 3-1/2 minutes spent online per visit.
Bulgarian viewers’ favorite stars include Aidra Fox, Latina favorite Lela Star and Welsh vixen Sophie Dee, and their top online search queries are “Porn Workouts,” “MILF Tits,” “Interracial Anal,” “Russian Girls” and “Latin Asses.”
The republic of about 7.2 million people has only enjoyed legal access to adult entertainment for the past 25 years, AE reports. While porn production and distribution is technically illegal, consumers are able to easily acquire imported videos and magazines in selected adult shops with little trouble.
“For Bulgaria’s residents, adult content is still fairly ‘underground,' but the cultural mindset is quickly changing,” Wozniak said. “According to our research, we predict a solid, steady increase in Bulgarian streaming sales in the next few years.”
