CYBERSPACE — Ethical.porn has announced the launch of new VOD site, EthicalPorn.tv.
EthicalPorn.tv includes titles from many of the performers and producers who have contributed statements to the main educational discussion site, the company reports. By creating a space for consumers to pay for their porn, EthicalPorn.tv is a way to support performers and producers alike.
Launched in May, Ethical.porn is a platform dedicated to complex, critical, ongoing discussion of “ethical” as it pertains to adult content production from within the industry itself, according to a representative.
Contributors come from all corners of the industry, including Angela White, Conner Habib, Jiz Lee and Shine Louise Houston, Kristel Penn, Mickey Mod, Mark Spiegler, Andre Shakti and more — with new contributions posted regularly.
“Neither Ethical.porn nor EthicalPorn.tv are rating or ‘best practices’ spaces,” Angie Rowntree, producer at Sssh.com explained. “The sites work together to support ongoing discussion of ethics in porn production and consumption — something that transcends notions of ‘correct’ sexual expression or genre and emphasizes multifaceted standpoints and consent — as well as provide consumers with space to access a diverse selection of content.”
A representative added, “The concept of ethical as it relates to adult content production is complex, as is the ongoing discussion on Ethical.porn. Listings included in EthicalPorn.tv should not be considered comprehensive of all ethical adult content. Further, inclusion in the store's catalogue is in no way a crucial aspect of creating ethical porn.”
