XBIZ Miami Reveals VR Shootout Contestant Lineup

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the official contestant lineup for this month’s highly anticipated VR Shootout at the 2017 XBIZ Miami Interactive Summit.

Presented by premier cam network Chaturbate.com, XBIZ Miami 2017 takes over the sold-out Mondrian Hotel from May 30 through June 2 for three action-packed days and sultry nights of unparalleled business opportunities with a tropical flair, culminating on Thursday, June 1, with the debut of the inaugural XBIZ Cam Awards, presented by camming powerhouse MyFreeCams.com.

XBIZ Miami’s greatly expanded educational, networking and social opportunities will bring the latest in digital media technology with a focus on live cams and virtual reality, to an elite international gathering of executives, producers, and talent, highlighted by the debut of the XBIZ VR Shootout.

Set for Thursday, June 1, the inaugural XBIZ VR Shootout pits VR content producers and service providers in a literal headset-to-headset competition, with the overall winner decided by attendee ballot.

The following companies are among those participating in the inaugural XBIZ Miami VR shootout, where they will demonstrate their contributions to the next-gen of adult entertainment. For a preview of the demos, what they encompass, and any particular production or technical detail that attendees should be on the lookout for when viewing each demo, XBIZ asked the participants for their insights and learned that there may be little in adult’s past to prepare attendees for its groundbreaking future:

Founder Michael Rapoport told XBIZ that “Pletra is the first VR advertising platform of its kind.”

“Our technology gives advertisers the users to increase their brand awareness in a new medium and VR publishers the capability to finally introduce a revenue model in the content,” Rapoport explained. “Our mission is to create a unique and non-intrusive experience for end-users in Virtual Reality by creating a truly native environment.”

Piper Blush told XBIZ that YourVRPorn will unveil the YourVR Camera 180Z Mk I, calling it “the first professional VR video capture system designed with the needs of the adult industry in mind.”

“We will be demonstrating its video recording capabilities right on stage, showing how it can record and export clips to be instantly watched in VR headsets, with no post-processing needed. Attendees will also be able to enjoy prerecorded clips of adult VR films shot with our camera, showcasing the camera’s high quality, 60 frames per second, perfectly undistorted stereoscopic 3D footage,” Blush revealed. “The YourVR Camera 180Z will be the first VR camera system that lets any adult producer or independent model easily start producing high-quality virtual reality content.”

For its part, Terpon will offer a real-time demo of its advanced VR webcam system that is receiving extensive media coverage, similar to the hands-on showing it did earlier this year at XBIZ L.A.

Anna Lee, president and executive producer, said HoloGirlsVR.com and HoloFilm Productions is excited to be a part of VR Shootout, where it will demonstrate and discuss methods and means of how to shoot award-winning content using its VR camera rigs as well as discuss the various solutions the company offers.

“For content producers interested in producing VR content we are offering the ability to join our growing network of studios. For those interested in licensing VR content, we will be offering exclusive discounts on licensing packages to attendees of XBIZ Miami only,” Lee said. “And of course, we will also be promoting our affiliate program HoloCashVR.com, which currently encompasses three exciting brands: HoloGirlsVR, Burning Angel VR and KinkVR.”

Rocketbike ARVR CMO Sean Earley will demo booomVR for attendees.

“booomVR is a virtual reality web browser and content aggregation platform. It displays VR, 3D, and 360-degree content which is pulled from the web, social media, news feeds and other websites and presents it in an easy to use user interface,” Earley said. “We are currently seeking content partners who are looking for a white label solution for publishing their VR content.”

Nicholas Dodge from VReleased is offering attendees the opportunity to play a BDSM-inspired game in VR.

“VReleased will be showing off a fully interactive, immersive VR experience featuring an anime girl ready to please her master,” Dodge exclaimed. “Unlike 180/360 videos, our 3D scene is fully rendered in real time with motion control interaction. So, go ahead and spank her ass red with a whip, vibrate her pussy or grab her head and pull her down for a BJ! Come check out VReleased where we encourage you to spank, whip and vibrate this kitty girl to orgasm!”

360 VR Novels’ Rodney Lewis plans to present a demo entitled, “Ready, Set, Shoot ... From 360 video production to content delivery,” inviting attendees to see the results of its HD productions using VR goggles.

“360 VR Novels will shoot your production, edit in post-production and monetize your content via an open source Android mobile application in a high definition 4K stereoscopic format,” Lewis said. “Our unique revenue sharing model allows your company and brand to get up and running quickly.”

VixenVR CEO Jimmy Hess is excited to have been invited to be part of VR Shootout.

“VixenVR and VRClubz features a unique blend of video production and game development never before seen in adult virtual reality,” Hess said. “Gold Club San Francisco VR is just one of our titles both immersive and interactive — the filmed girls come to life, they know who you are and if you are tipping them and if you are looking at them — even if you go to the bathroom. It’s like watching a movie where the environment takes a life of its own and everyone on screen knows what you are doing and reacts based on your actions.”

“We have spent years developing our VR content and micro-transaction payment systems,” Hess added. “We have an incredible VR experience to demo at XBIZ Miami and cannot wait to see everyone there.”

Todd Spaits told XBIZ that YanksVR is excited to demo its unique, all-female-shot flavor of virtual reality at VR Shootout.

“What will set our demo apart is our unique deep dive into our models’ true sexuality prior to seeing them naked, prior to seeing them more up close and personal than you could ever even imagine,” Spaits said. “YanksVR brings the girls of Yanks right into your world.”

CAM4VR’s Ela Darling, set to host the inaugural XBIZ Cam Awards red carpet, plans to showcase the company’s new 2.0 VR camera as well as its live voice-to-voice technology.

“When users try our VR experience, they feel like they’re physically present with the performer in their room with them [and] this experience is enhanced by the ability to speak directly to the performer in real time at very low latency,” Darling explained. “There has never been an experience that makes viewers feel more present and engaged with a cam performer than our new tech on CAM4VR.”

Free registration for XBIZ Miami is available for affiliates, producers, and talent, while XBIZ.net members qualify for discounted admission.
