Adam & Eve Asks: How Have Your Sex Toy Preferences Changed?

HILLSBOROUGH, NC  — AdamAndEve.com asked more than 1,000 adults how their preferences for sex toys have changed over the years.

Of those polled, 18 percent of the women and 24 percent of the men said they preferred more realistic sex toys than they had in the past. 16 percent of the women and 18 percent of the men said they now preferred higher end sex toys. And 15 percent of the women (versus eight percent of the men) said they preferred more powerful toys.

“Sex toy preferences, like preferences in foods or fashion, change over time,” explained AdamAndEve.com’s sexpert Dr. Kat Van Kirk. “For many people, their tastes evolve as they discover what does and doesn’t work best for them. With so many options in sex toys today, there truly is something for everyone.”

Director of marketing Chad Davis added, “Adam & Eve is pleased to provide hundreds of different types of adult toys for men, women and couples, in all different shapes, sizes and intensities.”

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of more than 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.

"Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" can be found on podcasts through iTunes or DrKat.com. Her book, “The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life,” can be found on Amazon.com.
