JOPEN Signs On as Sex Expo NY Diamond Sponsor, Exhibitor

NEW YORK — JOPEN has signed on as a diamond sponsor for Sex Expo New York and will be exhibiting at the biannual sexual wellness event, to be held Sept. 23-24 at the Brooklyn Expo Center in New York City.

In early March, organizers for the Sexual Health Expo (SHE) announced that it was rebranding as Sex Expo. The event has been bicoastal, and JOPEN featured its pleasure products at SHE L.A. at the California Market Center in Downtown Los Angeles on Feb. 4-5.

“We are truly thrilled to be exhibiting at Sex Expo N.Y. for the first time,” said JOPEN brand manager Robin Stewart. “JOPEN had such a terrific experience at the Los Angeles consumer event put on by Sex Expo… we just couldn’t pass this one up.”

JOPEN exhibited its Key and Opal lines at SHE L.A. and will be featuring them at Sex Expo New York 2017 as well.

“We brought our affordable luxury line Key as well as our newest Opal products, and both were a huge success in L.A.,” Stewart said. “We know our New York fans will love them too.”

JOPEN will also be exhibiting its lines at the 2017 ANME Founders Show, to be held July 16-18 at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank in Burbank, Calif. ANME and Sex Expo New York, Stewart said, both offer excellent promotional opportunities for the pleasure products brand.

“Sex Expo N.Y. will be right after the industry’s B2B trade show ANME, where we will launch our innovative luxury items,” Stewart said. “This gives New Yorkers a first look at our new fall collection. I can’t say any more about it here, as it’s truly top secret. But what I can say is you don’t want to miss it.”

Founded by Susan Colvin and based in Southern California, JOPEN is a sister company of CalExotics. JOPEN manufactures pleasure products for both men and women; it’s female-oriented products range from vibrators, massagers and stimulators to Kegel balls, and its male-oriented products include rings and anal toys.

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St., Brooklyn, N.Y. 11222 in the Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station. To reach the Brooklyn Expo Center from Manhattan, take the G Train.
