LOS ANGELES — The International Entertainment Adult Union (IEAU) today announced that it is offering health and disability insurance at group rates.
The policies are offered through GoHealth, National Association of Preferred Providers and American Workers Insurance Services on IEAU’s website.
“We’re not just here for collective bargaining to work out new deals for performers. We also very passionate about protecting them ourselves, even when nobody else will,” the IEAU said.
The IEAU said its offerings are the first of their kind to “a vulnerable segment of the working class traditionally ignored by mainstream insurance carriers.”
