Wicked Pictures Releases Brad Armstrong's 'Ethnicity'

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has announced the release of XBIZ Award-winning filmmaker Brad Armstrong’s highly anticipated “Ethnicity.”

Shot on location in and around Los Angeles, Armstrong’s latest production examines a diverse group of African American men and women whose relationships interweave until the fateful night their destinies collide with dramatic — and sometimes tragic — consequences.

“Ethnicity” is described as that rare couples film that seamlessly blends intriguing storytelling with passionate, meaningful erotica. While Armstrong has created all-black productions before — his Wicked Passions vignette release, “A Touch of Seduction,” received a nomination for the XBIZ Award’s All-Black Release of the Year — Ethnicity’s mainstream-quality screenplay and uniformly excellent acting “take his vision to the next level.”

“Everyone gave their 100 percent in this movie,” Armstrong said. “Their understated, natural performances make you believe every word, and make you feel like you’re right there inside the story with them.”

Wicked Pictures president and owner, Steve Orenstein, added, “When traveling the country, meeting and training retail staff, we met employees of color who would compliment the quality of our movies and hoped we could create the same high quality product where the whole cast looked like them and their customers. With ‘Ethnicity’ Brad has done exactly that. We hope this movie will be well received and we look forward to delivering more.”

“Ethnicity” follows an array of richly delineated characters whose lives reflect "virtually every sector of modern L.A.’s cultural matrix." From power-suited attorneys and football greats to emergency medical technicians and police officers," friendships are forged, promises are broken and tensions flare as relationships intersect and collide."

The cast includes Misty Stone, Osa Lovely, Kira Noir, Prince Yahshua, Chanell Heart, September Reign, Ricky Johnson, Yasmine DeLeon, Sarah Banks, Jezabel Vessir, Sadie Santana, Dirk Huge, Nat Turnher, Tyler Knight, Eddie Jaye and Stallion.

The movie’s realistic characterizations and high production values are complemented by six intense sex scenes: from a couples encounter showcasing Stone and Jaye to a four-way featuring Banks, Reign, Huge and Turnher.

The two-disc DVD is available in stores nationwide and online at Wicked.com. It comes packaged in a special keepsake sleeve and includes a special non-sex cut of the movie. The SFW trailer can be watched here.
