ModelCentro Adds 4K Portuguese Site, Porntugal.com, to Platform

LOS ANGELES — ModelCentro has announced the addition of Porntugal.com to its platform, bringing quality Portuguese content to the market.

According to the company, Porntugal specializes in 4K video content that is designed to give its audience a crystal clear view of the sexiest women of Portugal.

The site recently announced a branding change from Pornlowcost to Porntugal as a way of emphasizing the high-quality content it produces exclusively for fans and celebrated its new premium porn status by becoming part of the growing network of sites on the ModelCentro platform and MCProfits.com affiliate marketing program.

“We are very proud of the nearly 100 scenes we have already produced, starring truly local talent in original 4K video content,” says Porntugal CEO Carlos Ferreira. “Working with ModelCentro has been a huge benefit to our brand because it saves us so much backend time behind the scenes and allows us to focus all of our energy on what we actually do best.”

“We are already the leading Portuguese adult company and we have done a lot right since our start only two years ago,” Ferreira adds. “Now it’s time to reach a large and international market and I’d say without a doubt that choosing ModelCentro as our platform was one of the best decisions we have made so far to achieve that goal.”

Ferreira says the site’s earlier “lowcost” branding reflected the initial strategy of delivering high-quality Portuguese porn at a small cost in a market that is not used to paying for porn online as a way to develop an audience and establish the consumer culture needed to support better content. Now, as the site moves its audience upmarket with a premium product, present in local and international VOD platforms, PPV systems and mobile apps, the need for expertise on the backend became obvious and ModelCentro was the clear choice because of their own experience supporting many award-winning paysites for their content partners.

Stan D’Aman of ModelCentro says he noticed the niche’s needs early.

“We can proudly report,” D’Aman says, “that Porntugal sales started rising as web traffic became interested in their content while we worked together to advance their brand with even better traction.”

“Capitalizing on the momentum of more than 15 million views on the tubes, turning their product into something capable of fully monetizing the international market was the primary goal,” D’Aman explains. “All of the content is now available at www.porntugal.com with subscription options starting at $6.66 per month, in English and Portuguese languages. Affiliates with targeted traffic have a whole new way to cash in on premium Portuguese porn using the links already available in [their] MCProfits account.”

“Now is the time to reclaim market share,” D’Aman concludes, “as fans seeking a premium experience begin to go beyond free porn tubes and try to find a higher level of intimacy in their adult entertainment.”
