Kay Brandt to Discuss Erotic Books, Films at SHE L.A.

LOS ANGELES — Kay Brandt, who directed the upcoming Adam & Eve release “Adventures with the Baumgartners,” has announced she will be speaking on how erotic books and adult movies can improve sex at the next Sexual Health Expo (SHE), to be held this Saturday, Feb. 4 and Sunday, Feb. 5 at the California Market Center (CMC) in Los Angeles.

“Speaking at the Sexual Health Expo is the perfect opportunity to expose people to the value of erotic books and adult films to enhance their love lives,” Brandt said. “I’m very thankful to the Sexual Health Expo for this opportunity to raise awareness and hopefully change lives and bring couples closer together.”

Brandt’s presentation is part of the Expo’s Intimate Talks speaker series. Presented by SHE Media, the two-day Sexual Health Expo offers participants an upscale sex education and wellness event featuring workshops, speakers and exhibitors offering a variety of adult pleasure products.

Brandt will speak on the importance of sharing intimacy with a partner through the mutual enjoyment of erotic literature — whether current or classic — as well as adult films in which both partners share an interest.

She will be available at her booth to chat one-on-one with Expo attendees all day on both days.

“Intimacy isn’t just sex and passion,” Brandt said. “It’s about sharing moments and making each other excited about being together. Erotic literature read aloud has the unique quality of making you both visualize the action and feel the passion and desire of the moment. Watching quality porn will have a similar effect as you identify with the characters and their interaction that will hopefully give you both ideas about pleasing one another.”

Media members are invited to attend the media reception at 6:30pm on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the convention floor. To attend, e-mail sarah@fineassmarketing.com.

Among the media scheduled to participate are Bustle.com, Huffington Post, Marie Claire magazine, L.A. Weekly, Complex, KTLA-TV, Playboy TV, CBS and many others.
