Squirt.org Expands 'Make America Gay Again' Campaign

TORONTO — Squirt.org has extended its “Let’s Make America Gay Again” campaign to online platforms by encouraging supporters to customize their social media pictures with the campaign’s slogan via the Twibbon Twitter app.

“Some say protest is perhaps the best form of patriotism,” said Attila Szatmari, digital business director for Pink Triangle Press, Squirt’s parent company. “We encourage everyone to visit Squirt.org and join our campaign to 'Make America Gay Again.' Let's show the new administration that we believe gay rights and the rights of all Americans should be respected!”

The new viral effort asks visitors to support the campaign by changing their social media pictures to a stylized meme that features the campaign's slogan emblazoned across the bottom of the image.

The campaign was established in conjunction with Squirt.org’s billboard campaign that featured two guys holding an American flag and the quote “Let’s Make America Gay Again” on billboards in Los Angeles and New York City.
