Brett Lobdell Selected as Align's VP of Programming

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Align, AEBN’s transactional broadcast division, announced today that it has promoted Brett Lobdell to vice president of programming.

Lobdell was selected as Align’s programming director more than a year ago, tasked with handling schedules and content acquisitions. He previously served as director of programming with adult transactional network New Frontier Media.

In the announcement, Align said that Lobdell’s performance, marked by his “fresh thinking and critical eye for content,” has helped the company's bottom line. Align products are available in 30 million households worldwide representing Falcon TV, Lust and arouse.

“Seasoned by both successes and failures, Brett saw channels and efficiencies, trends and relationships within the business enabling him to cut his own path forward by creating tactics which have since been copied by competitors. Eventually these ideas became regarded as industry standards,” Align said.

“It’s been great to be a part of Align and to work with our team of industry veterans,” Lobdell said. “I’m looking forward to achieving our business goals and bringing the best adult programming to video-on-demand.”

Jeff Kreger, president of Align, said that Lobdell was a “natural choice” for the position.

“Whether it’s transactional or subscription video on demand, Align’s new VP of programming will help lead this small and relatively young organization as we meet much larger business opportunities," he said. “He has a unique awareness of content trends and audience purchasing triggers.”
