SDR Show Welcomes Rock Legend Gene Simmons

NEW YORK — The SDR show welcomed legendary KISS frontman Gene Simmons for an hour-long interview.

Hosted by Ralph Sutton and Big Jay Oakerson, Simmons told a string of Michael Jackson jokes, claimed most rock stars are not bright, explained why KISS will never get back together, and revealed the two names for his penis — Morgan (as in Morgan the organ) and Winston (because “Winston tastes so good”).

“People have convinced themselves they don't wanna pay for stuff and last time I checked, KISS is not a charity,” Simmons said. “We're philanthropic but I'll be the one that decides how much I give and where, not some college kid to decide, 'you have enough money, I don't wanna pay for your record.’

“Make a distinction between commerce and philanthropy,” he continued. “So, the idea of doing another KISS record, unless and if there's a financial model that works, personally I'm not interested in it.”

For Sutton having his idol in-studio was nothing less than a dream come true. “It's rare to be able to say you had a legend in the studio,” he said. “Well this week on SDR we got to. The demon. The God of thunder. Gene Simmons came in, and could not have been cooler.”
