PITTSBURGH — Online retailer Adult Empire (AE) addresses trends in adult films, pleasure products, tech and more in its new blog post, “AE Predicts the Hottest Porn Trends for 2017."
The post takes a look at topics ranging from porn’s rising starlets — including Kendra Sunderland, Felicity Feline, Elena Koshka — to adult virtual reality to adult parodies.
“This past year has seen so many advancements in porn, but this coming year has a whole slew of surprises too," said Megan Wozniak, director of marketing for the Pittsburgh-based Adult Empire. “In the new era of President Trump, political porn is more popular than ever, and Trump parodies — which took off last year — show absolutely no signs of slowing down.”
Adult Empire cites app-responsive sex toys, interactivity, sexual health and gender-neutral items as pleasure product trends for 2017.
“From high-tech to old-school classic, the demand for sex toys just keeps getting bigger and bigger,” Wozniak said. “People are adding novelties as a regular part of their sex lives, and are more open about experimentation and trying new things.”
