Jessica Drake Makes Final Call for AIDS Walk Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — Sex educator and Wicked Pictures contract performer jessica drake is making a final call to join Team Wicked at AIDS Walk Los Angeles this Sunday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. at Grand Park in Downtown L.A.

Team Wicked will be raising money for AIDS charities and voicing its opposition to Proposition 60, which will be on the California state ballot on Nov. 8. If passed, Proposition 60 would mandate the use of condoms in all adult films shot in California.

Grand Park is located at 200 N. Grand St.

A spokesperson for drake said that Proposition 60, if passed, “could have devastating ramifications by allowing any California resident to sue adult performers and producers — and potentially collect damages — if condoms are not visible in every frame of a scene.”

Members of the media are invited to meet drake and other Team Wicked members, who will share their stories and discuss their opposition to Proposition 60. To attend AIDS Walk Los Angeles or schedule interviews with Team Wicked, e-mail press@WickedPictures.com.

“We are receiving great industry support,” drake said. “So we are making one final plea to everyone to donate and join Team Wicked in this great charitable cause and the grass roots movement to stop Prop. 60. It’s about helping all those who have been impacted by AIDS and all those at risk, and about supporting efforts to defeat Prop. 60 — a blatant power grab meant to cripple our industry and hurt those whose livelihoods depend upon it. So join us with our ‘No on Prop. 60’ t-shirts, banners and signs and help support AIDS Walk L.A. and the effort to stop bad legislation.”

Team Wicked, according to a spokesperson for drake, has raised almost $70,000 over the last four years in connection with AIDS Walk Los Angeles.

In addition to drake, Team Wicked includes Asa Akira, Katrina Jade, Vanessa Veracruz, Brandy Aniston, Ryan Driller, Brad Armstrong, Alexa Fawx, Venus Lux and Alison Rey, among others.

Supporters may donate by visiting Team Wicked’s official AIDS Walk Los Angeles page at this link.

In addition to her work with Team Wicked, drake is a busy sexual wellness speaker and educator who lectures at universities and leads seminars and workshops around the world. She is the writer, producer, and director of the video series “jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex.”
