Dakota Skye, Brad Knight in WankzVR's 'Pounding the Painter'

LOS ANGELES — WankzVR has announced the release of its latest virtual reality porn title, “Pounding the Painter,” featuring adult performers Dakota Skye and Brad Knight.

In this scene, Dakota plays an inquisitive artist who relies on unconventional methods of inspiration for painting her latest nude masterpiece, with the VR user assuming the role of her male model.

According to Jack from WankzVR, while much of the emphasis of VR porn is on the female performer, the male porn star’s performance is just as crucial, since it is his virile body that acts as the VR user’s avatar.

Knight agrees, providing insight into the challenges of shooting VR porn as opposed to traditional porn, and calls male leads “unsung heroes.”

“Shooting VR is different than shooting any other kind of porn for both the male and the female. For the male, there is a rig there and you can’t really see the female, so you have to focus on the feeling. Also, these shoots typically take twice as long as normal shoots so endurance is key,” Knight explains. “For the women, the focus and attention is all on them, so they have to do more work than they would normally do. VR porn tests the girl’s endurance as well. They have to be able to hold positions much longer than they normally would, which is not easy but fun if the girls like it.”

“It always comes down to chemistry in a scene,” Knight adds. “It will always make a scene better if the guy and girl get along better.”

Knight also shared his thoughts on the future of VR porn and what it means for the industry.

“In general, this is a new process in the works with many exciting opportunities still ahead. Once certain aspects improve, like moving the equipment around and filming becomes more streamlined, then it will make for even better, more mind-blowing scenes,” Knight says. “The fans are already here. VR is the next big thing because people become fully interactive with their favorite porn star.”

“The fact that VR porn is giving a reason for people to buy porn again is excellent,” Knight adds. “The more people buying it will save us.”
