C.J. Asher Launches Philly Sex Coalition

PHILADELPHIA — Sex and adult entertainment blogger C.J. Asher has announced the establishment of the Philly Sex Coalition, a business networking group for sex and adult businesses, talent and organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area. The group will host its invitation-only launch party at Hugo’s Frog Bar and Chophouse at the SugarHouse Casino on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 6-9 p.m.

“Having interviewed numerous individuals within adult-oriented industries — from adult film stars to entrepreneurs to even lawyers and doctors — I constantly hear of the stigmatization, myths and misconceptions that these industries face,” Asher said. “My goal with Philly Sex Coalition is to bring together numerous groups and organizations to not only support each other, but to bring about a greater acceptance of lifestyle choices and sexual issues affecting our society.”

To that end, Asher said, his company, Asher Global Media, will be making a $500 donation to the Philadelphia-based organization March to End Rape Culture, who will be holding their annual march on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. in Center City Philadelphia. The march will begin at Thomas Paine Plaza at 15th Street and JFK Boulevard near City Hall.

Philadelphia-based comedian Rachel Fogletto will be performing at the Philly Sex Coalition’s Sept. 22 launch party, and Nick Cepparulo — manager of Creekside Cabaret, a gentlemen’s club in Montgomery County, Penn. — will be “discussing the challenges and demands of gentlemen’s club management,” Asher said.

The launch party is free to attend for invited guests. Complimentary appetizers will be served, and parking will be free. For more information about the launch party or to request an invitation, visit this link

The Sugar House Casino is located at 1001 N. Delaware Av. in Philadelphia's Fishtown area.

Asher, based in Philadelphia, has interviewed many adult stars for his blog CJAsher.com, including Joanna Angel, Missy Suicide, Chanel Preston, Sunny Lane, Jillian Janson, Darcie Dolce and Brett Rossi. CJAsher.com also features reviews of gentlemen's clubs and interviews with pleasure product companies.

In May, Asher formed Asher Global Media, a limited liability company registered in Pennsylvania. Asher Global Media is represented by Jessica Scott, president of the Philadelphia-based firm Jessica Scott Marketing and Events.
