2017 XBIZ Awards Categories, Pre-Nom Dates Announced

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ has pulled back the velvet curtain to unveil its official categories and pre-nomination dates for the 2017 XBIZ Awards, when the legendary Ron Jeremy will host the adult industry's biggest night.

The pre-nomination period for the 2017 XBIZ Awards will launch industry-wide on Sept. 1. To submit pre-nominations in any of the awards categories, industry professionals must be registered members of the XBIZ.net social network and use the online submission form to record their entries.

The deadline for all 2017 XBIZ Awards pre-nominations is midnight on Fri., Sept. 30.

Five new award categories have been added for the 2017 show in an effort to be more inclusive of previously unrecognized market segments and in response to feedback from members of the adult industry.

In the Movies & Production field, for the first time an honor will be given to Best Sex Scene - Virtual Reality, in light of the expanding VR sector.

For the Web & Tech segment, XBIZ will introduce awards for Cam Studio of the Year and Adult Site of the Year - Live Cam (Gay).

Within the realm of Pleasure Products, new awards will be given in the categories of Sexual Health & Wellness Brand of the Year and Sex Enhancement Product of the Year.

In order to be eligible for consideration for a 2017 XBIZ Award, movies and pleasure products must be released between Oct. 1, 2015 and Sept. 30, 2016.

Links to digital media works, marketing material and/or website login information should be provided via the online submission form.

Upon completing the pre-nomination submission form, producers and manufacturers that have not submitted product samples and marketing materials throughout the year may do so at:

Adnet Media, Attn.: 2017 Noms
5042 Wilshire Blvd. #487
Los Angeles, CA 90036
