QWEBEC Expo Officially Releases 2016 Schedule

MONTREAL — Event organizer Michael Plant has announced the official schedule for the 13th annual QWEBEC Expo, to be held at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal from Aug. 4-7. This will be the trade show’s first time at Hotel Bonaventure.

The festivities will include an Early Owl Gathering on Wed. night, Aug. 3 before the QWEBEC Expo begins as well as Thurs., Aug. 4 events that include the QWEBEC Masters Golf Tournament and the Need For Speed YNOT Karting Grand Prix presented by JuicyAds

Attendees who are already registered will be able to obtain their badges on Aug. 4 between 3- 5 p.m. at the badge pickup area.

Thursday will also include the first of three Networking Cocktails gatherings hosted by 2Much.net as well as NDPD (No-Dinner-Plans-Dinner) at LE Local at 740 Williams St. and the Official Kick Off Party Starlights, presented by Too Much Media at the same location. LE Local is within walking distance of Hotel Bonaventure. 

Frid., Aug. 5 will begin with Epoch-sponsored registrations and the QTalks — which are sponsored by Adult Force — and an open show floor, leading to the QWEBEC Expo Speed Networking 2.0 Session One that is presented by Gamma Entertainment. At 8 p.m., more QTalks keynotes are scheduled until the show closes for the day.

After that, one can relax at one of 2Much.net’s Networking Cocktail gatherings before heading up to Weinstein & Gavinos’ on Crescent for the NDPD Friday. 

On Sat. morning, Aug. 6, attendees can take part in the NATS Inside & Out Seminar and Workshop, presented by corporate sponsors Too Much Media at 10 a.m. Then, at 11 a.m., a legal Q&A with Corey Silverstein will take place at 11 a.m., followed by two Saturday Social Network Time Keynotes, including one with Steve Lightspeed of 2Hot4FB at 12:00 noon, followed by “#Density” with Lauren McEwen of 7 Veils Media at 12:15 pm. 

The Meet Market for Sat., Aug. 6 has been moved to 3 p.m. 

On Sat., Aug. 6 at 1:30 p.m., the Speed Networking 2.0 Session Two will take place. And at 6 p.m. that day, 2Much.net’s 3rd Networking Cocktail Gathering will take place at Alpenhaus Restaurant at 1279 Rue St. Marc. 

That Saturday night, the Glorious event will also take place. Glorious is described as a games night that “features approximately 100 popular interactive video games, air hockey tables and pinball machines, and much more.” Drink tickets and play cards are sponsored by Gamma Entertainment and The Dating Network.
