Lovehoney Returns to U.K. From ANME

BATH, U.K. — Lovehoney’s international sales team has returned to England from the ANME Founders Show, held at the Marriott Airport Burbank Hotel in Burbank, Calif. The three-day event started on Sunday and concluded on Tuesday.

Lovehoney’s presence at ANME marked the launch of the sex toy manufacturer’s Official Mötley Crüe Collection and two new Fifty Shades Darker collections as well as three new products from their Motörhead Collection. The ANME Founders Show was also the first assignment of Kate Hodgson-Egan as Lovehoney’s new international sales manager for the United States and the U.K.

Hodgson-Egan, now back in the U.K., said: “Thanks to everyone who came to the Lovehoney booth and channeled their inner rock gods and goddesses with us. We had a fantastic show and were so thrilled to be able to share the Official Mötley Crüe Collection and new Motörhead products with customers old and new.”

The Official Mötley Crüe Collection comprises a set of eight mini- and midi-sized vibrators, emblazoned with the heavy metal band’s iconic typography and distinctive artwork, as featured on classic 1980s albums such as “Girls Girls Girls,” “Shout at the Devil” and “Too Fast For Love.”

A Lovehoney spokesperson said, “There was even more from the earth-shattering Motörhead series, with two bomber-style glass dildos and an extremely powerful wand vibrator topped with a ‘War Pig’ stimulator.”

Attendees, according to Lovehoney, “were also able to get their hands on the brand new Fifty Shades Darker Official Pleasure Collection, made up of 13 high-quality pleasure products and three couples’ bondage and toy kits, and the Fifty Shades Darker No Bounds Collection, comprising ten limited-edition, leather bondage pieces.”

Hodgson-Egan said: “Excitement for the new ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ movie is starting to gain momentum, and it will be only a matter of months before we’re teased by steamy trailers and music tracks. Our new Fifty Shades Darker collections are the only official pleasure products approved by E.L. James and are the obvious choice for fans. We’re urging retailers to get in on the action; it’s going to be huge.”

Lovehoney won BDSM Product of the Year for the Fifty Shades of Grey Keep Still Over the Bed Cross Restraint at StorErotica Magazine’s 2016 StorErotica Awards, which were held on the last night of the ANME Founders Show.

Hodgson-Egan said of Lovehoney’s StorErotica win, “What a great way to end the show. We’re delighted.”
