LOS ANGELES — ArchAngel Productions has been nominated for Studio of the Year in the Inked Awards, and their lead director, MimeFreak, has been nominated for Best Non-Feature Director in the NightMoves Awards. ArchAngel also garnered a NightMoves nomination for Best All Sex Release for Ashley Fires’ showcase “Ashley Fires Is the ArchAngel,” which MimeFreak directed.
The Inked Awards, which honor tattooed adult performers, will take place on Sat., Nov. 5 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Edison, N.J. And the 24th Annual NightMoves Awards will be held in Tampa, Fla. on Sun., Oct. 9.
“Last year, we had an incredible year with over 31 nominations, and we’re hoping this year is even better,” MimeFreak said. “I am honored that both NightMoves and the Inked Awards have recognized our hard work, high production values and vision.”

2016 brought 14 XBIZ nominations for ArchAngel’s directors, showcase films, series and scene work. ArchAngel won Best New Studio and Best Gonzo Series in the 2016 XBIZ Awards, and Tori Black — another ArchAngel director — won Director of the Year: Non-Feature Release.
