HOLLYWOOD — Derrick Pierce was named Best Actor at the X-Rated Critics Organization's 2016 XRCO Awards, held Jun. 22 at the Ohm Nightclub in Hollywood, Calif. Wicked Girls jessica drake and Asa Akira hosted the event.
Pierce was honored for his portrayal of Magic Mike in Wicked Pictures' "Magic Mike XXXL: A Hardcore Parody."
"I am truly honored to have won this award," Pierce said. "I really dug deep to give the best performance I could. I am very thankful that the critics saw something special in my Magic Mike portrayal. It was a lot of fun making the movie, and winning this award is just incredible."
In addition to Pierce winning the Best Actor trophy, movies that he appeared in were also honored with awards by XRCO. "Magic Mike XXXL: A Hardcore Parody" won Best Parody: Drama, while "Batman v. Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" won Best Parody: Comic. In "Batman v. Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody," Pierce portrayed supervillain Lex Luthor.
