MONTREAL — Girlsway.com founder and XBIZ Award-winning filmmaker Bree Mills is set to host her first Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Thursday, June 23.
Mills will answer questions "professional, personal and in-between" from curious fans about the ins and outs of the adult industry at subreddit site IAmA from 5-7 p.m. (PST).
The self-described "lesbian pornography provocateur" is known for making "highly addictive adult movies… with and without penises" so colorfully captivating, they have often been referred to as the "Marvel Comics of Lesbian Porn."
"Working in the porn business is unique from working anywhere else, and people are always inquisitive about what the job is like, and of course I definitely understand the interest," Mills said, noting that the industry's historically prurient reputation attracts endless speculation and interest from the general public.
Mills, who created the all-girl Girlsway studio with cinematographer Stills by Alan, has worked for four years as a producer, writer and director of adult features and multi-episode series exclusively for Gamma Films, the production arm of XBIZ Award-winning company Gamma Entertainment.
"My life philosophy is that I want to get you off," said Mills, who also serves as Gamma Films' head of production. "I also believe that it's my duty as an artist to create porn that's worth paying for."
