PITTSBURGH — Adult retailer and entertainment website Adult Empire has unveiled a new campaign for June to promote the site PayForYourPorn.org in honor of “Pay for Your Porn Awareness Month.”
Adult Empire said it is encouraging consumers to support adult films by purchasing them rather than downloading them via tube sites.
To kick off the #payforyourporn movement, AE is treating fans to a month-long purchasing incentives, such as giveaways and contests for #P4YP apparel, free video-on-demand minutes for thousands of on-demand movies and scenes at AdultEmpire.com, as well as interviews with adult's hottest stars.
"As far as marketing campaigns go, this is an important one," said Megan Wozniak, Adult Empire’s director of marketing. "Piracy has reduced porn's value and limited the industry's employees' ability to make a living, and we're bringing attention to it to raise awareness about this ongoing problem."
Adult Empire’s June #payforyourporn campaign is designed to engage, retain and reward consumers when they help support the industry, and "fans are urged to visit us throughout June and see what new deals and discounts we have in store," said Wozniak.
