LOS ANGELES — LA Weekly attended a Girlsway shoot last week, courtesy of studio founders Bree Mills and Stills by Alan.
In a photo essay titled "This Is How Your Porn Is Made in 2016," Gustavo Turner goes behind-the-scenes with the XBIZ Award-winning studio that first launched in 2014.
Turner explained that Girlsway has been "revolutionizing the adult industry with its combination of high production values, care for actors on-set and interaction with the fan base."
Alan directed the shoot, which featured Briana Banks, Reena Sky and Melissa Moore.
Mills said, "Porn fans these days are also fans of entertainment in general. They enjoy 'Game of Thrones,' they go to Comic-Con and they watch porn. We took the best aspects of current television and comics, like expanded universes, continuing storylines, etc., and applied it to porn. We were lucky too because fans of lesbian porn like 'story.'"
