Wrestler, Porn Star Chyna Passes Away

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. – Chyna, the wrestler and adult performer, has died at 45.

A post to Chyna's official Twitter account confirmed the death, saying, "It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real-life superhero."

"She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her."

Chyna was discovered tonight at 7:30 p.m. (PDT) at her Redondo Beach, Calif., home, according to ProWrestlingSheet.com.

TMZ said police are investigating the death as a possible overdose.

Chyna posed for Playboy before moving on to reality TV. She appeared on "The Surreal Life" in 2005.

Later, she performed in six adult productions from 2004 to 2013. Chyna made her porn debut in 2004 with the self-produced celebrity sex video "One Night inChyna. " Her first release for Vivid was 2011's "Backdoor to Chyna. " She teamed up with the studio once again to star as She-Hulk in Axel Braun's "The Avengers XXX."

She later went to Japan to teach English, according to TMZ. Chyna struggled with addiction for years and appeared on "Celebrity Rehab" back in 2008.

She posted a video to her YouTube page earlier this week – and TMZ said she looked like she was struggling.
