French-Twinks.com Uses Porn Guardian to Fight Online Piracy

PARIS — French-Twinks.com has endorsed Porn Guardian as a way to identify and combat illegal online piracy.

"There have been no pirated copies of our last three scenes thanks to Porn Guardian," said Antoine Lebel, owner of French-Twinks.com.

A spokesperson for Porn Guardian and PiracyStopsHere.com said that before French-Twinks.com started using the anti-piracy solution, the European gay site's "content was available illegally on pirate websites within hours of being released."

Porn Guardian has been offering a real-time watermarking service to its customers for five years.  The latest version of Porn Guardian integrates partner company XVid.com's technology, which is extremely robust and survives all types of file manipulation. Pirates cannot get rid of these embedded marks.

Once the Porn Guardian staff finds the illegal copies of the file, it is a simple process to decode the files and determine what user accounts were used to download the original files.

Porn Guardian has an extensive reporting dashboard, which shows where each original file ended up online, who posted it and what else they have posted. Robust and detailed, the evidence can be used in litigation.

Lebel said, "Thanks to the hard work of the Porn Guardian folks, this is the first time in our existence that our new movies simply are not being pirated. It's an amazing feeling knowing we have some power over our own content distribution, and that the piracy problem can actually be solved."

Dominic Ford, co-owner of Porn Guardian, said, "We have always been a full-service agency for anti-piracy. Anti-piracy is so much more than just DMCA takedowns, and we are the only company looking at and solving the entire problem. Our goal is to stop piracy, not just clean up after pirates. We are so glad that French-Twinks.com shares this vision and is seeing the results of this work."
