Fetish Con Announces 2016 Dates and Location

ST. PETERSBURG  Fetish Con has announced the dates and location for its 16th annual fetish industry and community trade show. Sponsored by Clips4Sale, the event will be held from Aug. 11-14 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

For 2016, Fetish Con has added the inaugural Fetish Con Awards, which will highlight and honor those who have been integral to the overall growth of the fetish and alternative industry.

Fetish Con promoter Genesis Lynn said, "Our 16th year is bringing an array of new and exciting events, including the Fetish Con Awards  which have already seen over 15,000 nominations. It's truly exciting to see the awards so well received, and we look forward to announcing the winners at the trade show."

Whether they are a model, actor, producer, production company, live stage performer, webcam model, fetish/alternative clothing company or adult toy/novelty company, organizers invite the public to nominate their favorites for the Fetish Con Awards. Nominations can be made at FetishCon.com until 11:59 p.m. EST tonight.

Fetish Con 2016 will be held at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront Hotel, located at 333 First St. South.

Fetish Con is still accepting registration for vendors, and exhibitors.

With classes, private dungeon/play space, live fetish shows, an art gallery, after-hour parties and the nonstop Pervy Pool Parties, Fetish Con has grown to an internationally recognized and hugely anticipated event within the fetish industry and community. Held in Florida every year since 2004, when the event moved there from New York, the event brings thousands of fetish performers, production companies and kinksters together for a four-day weekend.

Lynn said, "Another feature we are expanding on this year is the Pervy Pool Parties. We plan on revving them up even more this year. The show wouldn't be complete without the Kinky Red Carpet. It will again be the place to see and be seen, as the events will be live-streamed and live-tweeted, and photos updated regularly at Instagram. We can't wait to see where 2016 takes us."

In 2015, Fetish Con brought in more than 7500 attendees, with over 200 models and 60 vendors on hand to meet with fans and consumers.
