LOS ANGELES — Evil Angel has announced the release of director Dana Vespoli's "ScrewberX," which will be available on DVD and VOD on Feb. 24.
“I got the idea for ‘ScrewberX’ after using Uber a lot for a month,” Vespoli said. “There were a lot of funny moments, with misunderstandings and/or stories about passengers being inappropriate or assholes.
"One day, stuck in traffic in an Uber, I thought, I’d love to do a porno social satire about everything I’ve experienced and heard,” she added.
Justin Rich, domestic sales manager of Evil Angel, said, “This movie speaks in the language of the young, modern porn demographic. For everyone in my generation, the fantasy is to hook up with their Uber driver or passenger.
"‘ScrewberX’ explores the possibilities very creatively; I like that each scene is a vignette with a different story," he continued. "And Dana has cast talented performers that make crazy situations arousing.”
"ScrewberX" features Cherie DeVille, Dana DeArmond, Dana Vespoli, Layla Price, Sovereign Syre, Chad Diamond, Mark Wood, Steve Holmes and Tommy Pistol.
