iFriends Celebrates 18 Years of Service

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — This upcoming Sunday, iFriends.net will celebrate 18 years of providing live interactive video chat services.

According to the company, iFriends launched its operations on Valentine’s Day in 1998, establishing itself as an early player in the burgeoning adult webcam industry. iFriends quickly became the template for adult webcam programs that followed, topping $100 million in payouts to its models and affiliates in just a few years.

“iFriends doesn’t celebrate small, and this achievement in longevity is no exception,” says Affiliate Manager Stacy Michelle. “The wild birthday week kicks off with a gift of $18 for every member, cash prizes for models, and several free live shows for everyone over 18.”

The free shows include SANITYASSASSIN, on Thursday, Feb. 11; GAPING-AMY on Thursday, Feb. 18; and KIMBER_LEEXXX, on Thursday, Feb 25.

All shows are set for noon, PST.

Calling iFriends’ 18-year-old “coming of age” one of the site’s proudest moments, Stacy explains that iFriends has provided one of the most enduring adult webcam experiences, fostering friendly, private, and authentically intimate live sessions for its members.

“The community on iFriends has always gone well beyond live interactive video chat. Users can enhance their online relationships with wake-up calls and phone sex, free cam-2-cam, and FanClubs,” Stacy adds. “And members have long been able to personalize the service further, using the site’s recommendation engine as a discovery tool for their sexual viewing preferences, and curating their favorite videos and photos into their own ‘Private Collections.’”

iFriends’ VIP business model currently offers customers a unique value proposition, where for as little as $6.95 per month, subscribers receive up to 25 percent off all video chat, and earn reward points towards new purchases. Members can also elect a no-subscription fee option, known as VIP Free. The site also features more free shows and diversified its offerings with custom clips sales and flat-rate cam shows.

iFriends also has expanded development of its affiliate program, ClickCash.com, which boasts more than 236,000 registered affiliates. ClickCash has invested resources in new media platforms and initiatives that include electronic billboard ads in Times Square N.Y., radio and podcast advertising, and targeted social networking promotions.

"We’ve been innovating for nearly two decades [and] our success comes in part from the feedback that models provide us every day,” Stacy concludes. “By listening to them and our loyal customer base we've made the changes that keep us fresh and innovative and increase our revenue per member.”
