Zero Tolerance, Hustler Release Lost John Holmes Movies

VENICE, Calif. — Zero Tolerance has announced they are releasing the first two feature titles ever shot starring adult film legend John Holmes this week.

Hustler founder and chairman Larry Flynt recently acquired the unseen footage, which lay forgotten for years in the anonymous director’s private erotica library.

“We comb through an enormous amount of content on a regular basis and, every once in a while, come across something really special,” Flynt said. “This is one of those times! We’re very excited to bring these hidden treasures to the public.”

The two movies, "Balls in Action" and "The Doctor Is In," represent the first feature work performed by future superstar John Holmes, who had only shot loops prior to making them. The films’ director, a young man at the time in the early 70s, buried them after receiving a lucrative mainstream job for fear they might hurt his skyrocketing new career.

The rare footage includes a three-scene romp following a small basketball team’s antics in the locker room and showers as well as a sex therapist’s secret session with his salacious patients that climaxes in a chocolate sauce orgy.

“With Mr. Flynt’s keen interest in the production of erotic content, he frequently makes purchases of large lots of adult films and examines them to see if there is any material of interest,” said Robert Smith, Hustler Video’s director of operations. “This time, he hit the jackpot!”

Hustler Video has remastered the classics. They are now available on DVD from Zero Tolerance, Hustler TV and Hustler.com. For sales inquiries, contact Tony Cleary at Tonyc@zte mail.com or call (818) 700-1872, ext. 125.
