Doc Johnson Wins XBIZ Award for 'Marketing Campaign of the Year'

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Pleasure products powerhouse Doc Johnson has announced that its popular “Ask The Doc” radio show and consumer education program has received the 2016 XBIZ Award for “Marketing Campaign of the Year.”

The weekly show is hosted by Doc Johnson’s COO/CCO, Chad Braverman, and its Marketing Director, Sunny Rodgers. The duo gives listeners an opportunity to directly ask questions, meet featured guests and have an inside look into America's largest sex toy manufacturer.

Guests last year included Larry Flynt, Dan Savage, and Emily Morse among others.

Broadcasting live every Friday between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. PST on Playboy Radio, the show focuses on the questions from callers, and covers topics ranging from online dating to how to bring sex toys into a relationship. Podcasts can be found on Playboy, iTunes, SoundCloud, Spreaker and Doc Johnson’s website.

“We have had so many people contact Doc Johnson for help over the years that having this radio show platform to directly reach consumers is a perfect way for us to answer all those questions, as well as answer questions directly from our listeners,” Braverman explains. “We are extremely honored that XBIZ has chosen our ‘Ask The Doc’ program as ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year.’”

Since launching last year “Ask The Doc” has been listened to more than 150,000 times and continues to grow in popularity. The show’s success is largely based on the efforts of its Producer, Ryann Brooks, who handpicks guests, content and show direction much of the time.

“I am so proud of what we’ve accomplished with ‘Ask The Doc,’” said Rodgers. “Every day we receive calls and emails from people who really need help and advice.”

“Being able to help enrich lives is the best part of Ask The Doc,’” Rodgers added. “I am thrilled that XBIZ honored us with this award and I’m excited to see where ‘Ask The Doc’ goes next.”

Listeners can record their questions 24 hours a day at (323) 642-9444 and can call in live during the show to have their questions answered.
