Shyla Jennings Named Girlsway Girl of the Year

MONTREAL — FameDollars has announced all-girl actress Shyla Jennings officially won the 2015 Girlsway.com “Girl of the Year” Contest.

After two weeks of fan voting amidst intense competition, Jennings became the first-ever Girlsway Girl to be crowned “Girl of the Year."

The studio stated that Jennings "did a fantastic job throughout the campaign to keep her fans voting and engaged," and that she played an integral role during Girlsway's first year, starring in several of its feature series.

“I couldn’t be more grateful that the fans voted and made me their Girlsway Girl of the Year," Jennings said. "They are truly the reason I am here today.

"Thank you Girlsway but, most of all, thanks to my beautiful GG community!” she added.

Dillion Harper came in second place, after a strong rally from her fans. Her most recent collaboration with the studio was the “Three Way Mistress” mini-feature.

After a very close race, all-girl performer Vanessa Veracruz rounded out the finalists in third place. Over the past year, the studio says that Veracruz was "a large part of the Girlsway family, often acting as its unofficial brand ambassador and bringing a wealth of creativity and passion to her relationship with the studio."

"This collaboration, evidenced by her support for other Girlsway Girls and co-campaigning efforts with Jennings, is what makes her one of the ultimate #BossBabes in the business," offered Girlsway.

“I want to take a moment to acknowledge all of our participating Girlsway Girls this year,” said Bree Mills, head of production for Girlsway and its lead writer, producer and co-director. “2015 was quite a journey and it would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication and passion of each of them.

"I also want to thank fans the world over for participating in this contest," she added. "At the end of it all, I think you made very wise choices in your finalists!”

Heading into its second year, Girlsway has pledged to continue their Girl of the Month (GOTM) campaign, choosing popular performer Mercedes Carrera as their January 2016 selection.

“The Girlsway brand is always looking for new ways to get their fans involved, and the Girl of the Year contest was a great way for them to have their voices heard," FameDollars Affiliate Manager Derrick G. said. "It was exciting to see how close the contest was and how many new members were engaging on the site as a result."
