Winner of Eldorado’s Santa’s Sack Contest Chosen

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Eldorado has announced retailer For the Love of It from Wanatchee, Wash., as the winner of its “How Much Does Santa’s Sack Weigh?” contest.

The promo ended Nov. 13 and the winner was announced Nov. 16.

According to Eldorado, a total of 64 entries were made guessing how much “Santa’s sack” weighed. The winner For the Love of It from Wanatchee, Wash. guessed 18 pounds — the actual weight was 18.05 pounds.

The contest allowed Eldorado customers to guess the total weight of the products in “Santa’s Sack,” in the graphic that was on Eldorado’s Facebook page. The closest guess to the actual weight won all the products in the image, worth more than $1,000 retail.
