ArchAngel Earns 14 XBIZ Awards Noms

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — ArchAngel scored 14 XBIZ Awards noms this week.

The studio said its “crowning achievement” was the nomination for Best New Studio.

Directors MimeFreak and Tori Black were honored for their achievement this year.

Black received a nomination for Director of the Year – Non-Feature Release for “True Lust.” MimeFreak was honored with a nod for Director of the Year – Body of Work.

ArchAngel garnered two nominations for Performer Showcase of the Year with Kendra Lust’s showcase “True Lust” and Adriana Chechik’s tour de force “Adriana’s a Slut.”

ArchAngel garnered two nominations for girl/girl scenes and releases. Karmen Karma’s showcase “Karma’s a Bitch” received a nomination for Best Scene – All-Girl for Karmen’s intense scene with Adriana Chechik. And, Remy LaCroix’s showcase “Remy’s Angels” picked up a nom for All-Girl Release of the Year.

ArchAngel received two nominations for Best Scene — All-Sex Release for Adriana Chechik, Megan Rain and Chris Strokes in “Adriana’s a Slut” and Veronica Rodriguez and Erik Everhard in “Freaky Petite.”

They also scored two nominations for Interracial Release of the Year for “A Black and White Affair” and Nina Elle’s showcase “Nina Elle Is the ArchAngel.”

“The Booty Movie” and “True MILF” were recognized for their merit as a series and both titles picked up Gonzo Series of the Year noms.

And, “Beautiful Tits” was also acknowledged with a nomination for All-Sex Series of the Year.

“We would like to thank XBIZ for all of our nominations,” ArchAngel Director MimeFreak said. “It’s great to recognized for all of our hard work and the scene work of the talented performers we have on our sets.”

“Our first year has been amazing,” ArchAngel owner Gabriel Guzman said. “Our movies have received fan and critical acclaim across the board and now we’ve been honored with multiple nominations. Wait until you see what we have planned for next year.”

The 2016 XBIZ Awards take place on Jan. 15 at the J.W. Marriott located at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles.
