Stormy Daniels to Do Reddit AMA

LOS ANGELES — Stormy Daniels, the writer/director/performer and Penthouse Pet, will host Reddit’s popular Q&A forum, “I Am A: Ask Me Anything,” at noon PT/3 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Daniels, a contract star and filmmaker with Wicked Pictures, will answer questions for an hour. Those planning to join the discussion will find a link to the IAmA on her Twitter page, @StormyDaniels beginning at 11:30 a.m. PT/2:30 p.m. ET.

Daniels’ IAmA is also featured on Reddit’s calendar, where a link will be available.

“I have so much to share with fans that this will absolutely be the definitive place to get the scoop on the latest news about my movies, my plans and everything else,” Daniels said. “Nothing is off-limits so, like the name says, ask me anything!”

Daniels recently received critical acclaim for her directorial work, which includes this fall’s epic erotic western “Wanted,” which she wrote, directed and starred from a story she began writing nearly 10 years ago. The movie, produced by Wicked Pictures and Adam & Eve, is one of 10 films she directed this year.

Over her career, Daniels has helmed such movies as “Operation: Desert Stormy,” “Blow,” “Pretty Dangerous,” “Dirty Deeds,” “Impulse,” and more. This year alone, she has directed movies spanning a wide variety of genres, including action, western, gonzo, comedy, romance, girl/girl, suspense, and showcases.

Since her arrival in the adult industry, the Louisiana native has won several awards, including the 2007 XBIZ Award for Crossover Star of the Year honor.

Even after all these years in the industry, Daniels refuses to be defined as a feminist director, or even allowing her sex to play a role in the kinds of movies she makes.

“I love the freedom and support of the creative process that Wicked gives me,” Daniels said. “I've directed movies in just about every conceivable porn genre, and it’s this diversity of my work that is something I'm really proud of.”
