MiKandi Interviews 'The Cummoner' Artist as Adult Comic Platform Grows

SEATTLE — MiKandi recently interviewed comic artist TotemPole of "The Cummoner," the latest addition to the porn app store's growing Adult Comic Platform library.

"The Cummoner" is an erotic fantasy comic available on Android, about Vilga the Sorceress and her misadventures with Paladins, witches, fairies and more.

TotemPole entered the world of adult comics after being inspired by erotic artists like Polish creator Au of "Lust Boat" and French illustrator Joel Jurion. He followed Jurion's DeviantArt account, which led him to discover HentaiFoundry, where he got his start. "It all began as a way to support my freelance income, but as soon as I moved from illustrations to comics I knew it was something that gave me a lot of satisfaction and I was hooked," TotemPole told MiKandi.

Before he began working exclusively in digital, TotemPole used ink, brush and watercolors. Now, he creates comics on his PC with a Wacom Cintiq 24HD and Adobe Photoshop. "I also use a second display for reference, color checking (Cintiq displays are a bit darker by design, because you work with your face practically glued to them) and an occasional TV show," he added.

The first five issues of "The Cummoner" are "First Time for Everything," "Witch Morwena," "Bondage," "Hard Lesson" and "Tuck's Night Out." They can be downloaded from MiKandi here.
