LONDON — Legendary gay porn star Blue Blake has died at 52.
Blake performed in numerous adult scenes and features from 1993 through 2003 before moving on to direct, produce and own his own studio, muscle-centric Big Blue Productions.
As a star, Blake performed with every major star in the industry at the time and won many major awards and honors, including induction into the Gay Porn Legend Hall of Fame.
His studio, Big Blue Productions, which filmed 24 features, included casts of massive, gay-for-pay bodybuilders.
In 2009, Blake explained to XBIZ his raison d'etre for starting up the studio: "There are all these bodybuilders hanging around London. I've been licking my lips. There are Czech bodybuilders and Brazilian bodybuilders. Lots of new, fresh meat."
The London native also was an author who published the autobiography, "Out of the Blue: Confessions of an Unlikely Porn Star." The autobiographical romp detailed the life of Blake and his adventures in the skin trade.
The cause of Blake’s death had not been ascertained by post time.
