MiKandi Rolls Out HTML5 Adult Games

SEATTLE — Popular adult app store MiKandi.com has announced the launch of HTML5 adult game support for all touch devices.

Starting immediately, all players on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows Phone, and desktops can enjoy adult mobile games, such as Fap Ninja, 8 Bit Dick, Strip Ninja by Doxy, and more.

“For the past several years, adult games has been one of our most popular categories,” MiKandi CEO, Jesse Adams, explains. “Since the majority of adult games were built with Flash or for PC only, it made sense for us to design a next generation, mobile-first game distribution platform.”

“The adult industry in general is just starting to think about a world without Flash,” Adams added, “so we’re excited about the opportunities HTML5 will bring.”

According to Adams, over the past year, the company has taken a proactive approach to growing the emerging adult mobile game market, by investing in new games and partnering with leading HTML5 game developers.

“The platform makes it incredibly easy for developers to reach larger audiences across the web,” Adams says, noting that “Each game includes a simple copy/paste embed widget allowing the games to be shared easily and widely.”

A JSON game feed with advanced embedding options is also available, allowing publishers to customize the entire game catalog for their sites — including the ability to put ads around the games. Through the game feed, publishers can supercharge their sites and increase engagement by offering value to users through free, playable content that works across devices.

“While the road to building such games without the use of browser runtimes like Flash has been challenging, we hope to take the lead in providing great experiences which run within the safety of the browser sandbox,” Adams explains. “These games allow a whole new universe of customers on iOS and desktop devices access to the MiKandi ecosystem. We’re thrilled that so many more people will be able to experience the MiKandi vision of ‘Satisfaction on Demand.’”

Over the coming weeks, MiKandi will release several additional games that are now going through final testing and SDK integration, and the company will also release additional games that are earlier in their development cycles over the coming months.

Developers interested in joining MiKandi’s HTML5 Games program can email publisher@mikandi.com.
