LOS ANGELES — All-girl adult studio Girlsway is introducing what it is calling "a new genre of erotica" to the adult market — lesbian porn noir.
The debut of the trailer for “The Business of Women” offers the first look at the genre. Featuring an all-star cast in a tale of sex, domination, and power, “The Business of Women” is set to ship as a two-disc DVD on Sept. 4 from Girlfriends Films.

According to Girlsway, "lesbian porn noir" blends the sexual motifs and cynicism of film noir with the eroticism of all-girl porn. “I’ve always had a hunch that film noir and erotica could work well together, both visually and in terms of narrative," said Bree Mills, head of production for Girlsway.
"But, while traces of it have appeared in mainstream films, it’s a hybrid that had never been fully explored… so I took it as a challenge."
“The Business of Women” trailer, running 2 minutes 44 seconds, reveals a lonely escort (Samantha Rone), as she faces the reality of leaving the sex trade in favor of working for a powerful business woman (India Summer). Rone soon discovers she must use her sexual talents to battle a rival businesswoman (Vanessa Veracruz) and her cohort (Shyla Jennings) who are out to topple her boss’ empire.
Co-directed by Mills and Stills by Alan, “The Business of Women” features six hardcore sex scenes, including an all-girl foursome, a BDSM three-way, and intense one-on-one girl/girl action. The movie stars India Summer, Vanessa Veracruz, Shyla Jennings, Samantha Rone, Abigail Mac, and Charlotte Stokely.
Originally released as a six-part mini-series on Girlsway.com earlier this year, “The Business of Women” is being released on DVD as a full-length feature film, which includes behind the scenes footage, cast interviews, photo galleries, and more.
“As writer, producer, and co-director of ‘The Business of Women,’ my hands were literally all over this project from the word go!” Mills said. “But the quality of the final feature is a true testament to the collaboration of our entire cast and crew. Without their passion and dedication, it would simply not have become the breakout success that it is today!”
