Maia Toys Institutes New Quality Control Standards

VENICE, Calif. — Adult toy manufacturer Maia Toys has announced its roll out of higher quality control standards for its line of products.

According to the company, Maia Toys, which are carried by major distributors around the world, were designed to express buyers’ moods through vibrant colors and designs that emphasize both comfort and functionality. Among its more popular products are the medical grade silicone Twistty, plus rabbit and G-spot vibrators, mini bullets, eggs, Kegel balls and dongs.

In keeping with efforts to help Maia Toys customers have a more enjoyable experience, all Maia Toys will now be subjected to physical tests at the company’s new Los Angeles-based QC facility. This new testing regimen will ensure that every Maia brand toy works properly before being shipped to retail and wholesale partners.

“When talking to our retail partners, one concern that many of them had was product quality,” explains Mara Epstein, Maia Toys’ Director of Sales and Marketing. “The vast majority told us that these problems were not necessarily directly associated with Maia Toys, but rather anytime they had to return a toy, they feared their reputations were put at risk.”

Epstein says that the company’s new quality control standards come on the heels of several other changes made this year, including the addition of new products, updated packaging, and co-marketing programs designed to help its partners be more successful with the Maia brand.

“We wanted to prove to our partners that we were listening,” Epstein adds. “That’s why we created these new quality control standards and procedures.”

Retailers and distributors can contact Maia Toys for details about its new standards and initiatives.
